We are excited about starting our new learning unit - biomes. Regardless of its location in the world, a biome shares a common climate or weather, plants and animals.  We will work with the seven main biomes; tropical rain forest, taiga, tundra, desert, grassland, temperate forest and oceans.

We are just finishing up our work with the five senses. We spend so much time on that subject every year because that is the way young children approach learning.  They use multiple senses when they work with any new material in school or at home.
